Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 May 2026 · Version 1.0
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website-analysis
services provided by [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME OR REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME]
located in Tallinn, Estonia ("GEOS", "we", "us"), accessible through
geos-app.com and (where applicable)
app.geos-app.com.
By submitting an inquiry, paying an invoice, or using the self-service
platform, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms.
1. What GEOS provides
GEOS is an automated website-analysis service that audits sites for
search-engine optimisation (SEO), generative-engine optimisation (GEO),
schema markup, AI-discoverability signals, and accessibility against the
WCAG 2.2 specification. The deliverable is an interactive HTML dashboard
and accompanying reports containing findings and recommendations.
GEOS is a diagnostic and advisory tool, not an
implementation service. We identify issues and propose specific
remediations; the Customer is responsible for implementing changes on
their own website.
2. How orders work
- You submit an inquiry via the order form at geos-app.com.
- We respond within one business day with a free sample audit covering
one URL from your submitted list.
- If you decide to proceed, we send a quote with scope, timeline, and
price.
- Upon your confirmation, we issue an invoice for payment by bank
transfer.
- Audit work begins after payment is received and confirmed in our bank
account.
- The deliverable is sent within the agreed timeline (typically 3–7
business days after payment, depending on scope).
3. Payment
- Prices are quoted in EUR unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is via bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice.
- Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed.
- Recurring monthly engagements are billed monthly in advance and can
be cancelled with 7 days' notice before the next billing cycle.
- For self-service platform customers (when available): subscription
fees cover the platform; AI inference costs ("Bring Your Own Key") are
paid directly to Anthropic by the Customer using their own API key.
4. Customer responsibilities
By submitting URLs for auditing, you confirm that:
- You own the website you have submitted, or are authorised by the
owner to commission an audit of it.
- The URLs you submit are publicly accessible (no audits behind login
walls unless we agree separately in writing).
- You will not use GEOS to audit websites in violation of the website
owner's terms of service or for unlawful purposes.
- You are responsible for keeping any sign-in credentials (magic-link
emails, session cookies) confidential.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your own Anthropic API key on
the self-service platform and revoking it from your GEOS account if
compromised.
5. What we will not do
- Implement changes on your website (this is your responsibility).
- Guarantee specific ranking or visibility outcomes — search engines
and AI systems use their own algorithms, which we do not control.
- Audit websites that promote illegal activity, harassment,
misinformation, or violate the rights of third parties.
- Resell or share Customer audit data with third parties (other than
sub-processors necessary for service delivery, listed in our
Privacy Policy).
6. Intellectual property
- GEOS software, methodology, audit framework, and the GEOS brand are
the intellectual property of the Operator. You receive a non-exclusive
license to use the deliverables you have paid for in connection with
your own website.
- The content of your website remains yours. The audit outputs we
produce (reports, dashboards, recommendations specific to your site)
are yours to use, share internally with your dev team, and act upon.
- You may not resell, redistribute, or publish GEOS audit deliverables
as if they were your own product. You may share findings with your
team, contractors, or stakeholders for the purpose of acting on the
recommendations.
7. Disclaimers
GEOS is provided "as is". While we use commercially reasonable efforts
to provide accurate and useful audits, we do not warrant that:
- The audit will be free of errors or omissions.
- Implementing our recommendations will improve your site's search
ranking, AI visibility, or any specific metric.
- The service will be uninterrupted or available at all times.
- Any specific issue identified in the audit will, by itself, cause
or constitute non-compliance with any law or regulation.
WCAG audits are advisory, not legal certifications.
We evaluate your site against the WCAG 2.2 specification; legal
accessibility compliance (including under the European Accessibility
Act and national laws) involves factors beyond automated audit and
requires consultation with qualified legal counsel.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator's total liability
to you for any claim arising out of or relating to GEOS or these Terms
is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding
the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or
punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of
business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility
of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud,
wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot
lawfully be excluded.
9. Service interruptions and termination
- We may suspend or terminate access to the self-service platform
immediately if you breach these Terms or if your use poses a security
risk.
- You may terminate a subscription at any time with 7 days' notice
before the next billing cycle. No refunds for partial billing periods.
- One-time audits, once delivered, are non-refundable.
- If we discontinue GEOS, we will give active subscribers 30 days'
notice and provide a means to export their audit outputs.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our
Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into
these Terms by reference.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be
announced via email to active customers at least 30 days before taking
effect. Continued use of GEOS after the effective date constitutes
acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any
dispute arising from these Terms or from the use of GEOS will be resolved
in the Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus), unless mandatory consumer-protection
law gives you the right to a different forum.
Both parties will first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith
negotiation before escalating to formal proceedings.
